I just cleaned out my planted tank and have massive amounts of frogsbit to sell. Koi and goldfish love to munch on these. They are a great way to provide pond fish with the vegetable content they need in their diet, and this will keep them from munching on your more expensive pond plants. Frogsbit also makes a great treat for aquatic turtles!

These plants were grown under metal halides so they took off in my tank. They will flourish outside in an outdoor pond and they are much larger and less invasive than duckweed. If allowed to, they will grow and form a mat across the surface of the water which blocks out sunlight and prevents algae from growing. These plants also compete with algae for nutrients and prevent green water.

I originally bought this plant for $6 a piece at a fish store. I’m getting rid of everything you see in the picture. $10 for a giant heaping handful. Located in Buford 3 minutes off the Hamilton Mill exit from I85.
